See What Pages Don't Work

Bounced Pages
The term "bounced" is used to describe a page where visitors enter and leave from without viewing any other pages on your site. mviSPY identifies these bounced pages so that you can know which pages are not working and rethink your marketing/design/code strategy for those pages.
Bounced visits are particularly important when using pay-per-click (PPC) ads and costly when a site visitor leaves without getting your message. With mviSPY you will have the knowledge needed to combat "bounced" visits by knowing what keywords are being used that generate a bounced visit.
For example, you might be selling a new widget but not getting much of a response. With mviSPY bounced pages you can see what keywords are driving traffic to your page but not getting results. From this you can determine if the content on your page is getting your message across to your site visitors and take corrective action if needed.
Visitor Expectations Not Met
A bounce page is a page that a visitor arrives on and, for whatever reason, leaves without viewing another page. Usually bounce pages occur when the content on the page does not match the visitor's expectations. How you interpret the information is important, but knowing you have an issue is key. With mviSPY you can identify these pages quickly. Bounced pages require attention to find out why the visitor leaves. Sometimes it can be just a slow loading page or programming error. Either way, with mviSPY you'll know where the issues are and what is driving traffic to them.

Bounced Page Example
The highest cause of bounced pages is poor keyword choice. If the search term used by a visitor to find your page does not match the content on your page then visitor would probably leave. For example, let's say a visitor was looking on Google for "used honda cars" and the link they clicked on Google sent them to a page talking about "used trucks".
Most likely this visitor would leave without viewing another page on the site because the content they found did not match what they were expecting. In this case they were expecting a page about "used honda cars" and found information about "used trucks". While this is an extreme example and one that is easy to correct, it underscores the main culprit to bounced pages.
With mviSPY you will now know what pages are generating the most bounced visits and the keywords that are driving traffic to those pages. With this knowledge you can take corrective measures to improvie your content and ultimately your business growth!
